This reminded me of General Harry Kinnard, a WWII officer who famously replied to a German demand for surrender with the interjection “Nuts!”
You’d think the destruction of Alderaan would have left more visible debris than the few rocks that clanged off the Millennium Falcon.
I’ll have to watch the Special Edition version again to see if George Lucas added any special effects to that scene. Maybe Princess Leia’s old house went flying by and I didn’t notice.

I noticed a familiar name while perusing a map of Tunisia the other day. George Lucas filmed parts of Star Wars in Tunisia and he borrowed the name of a local town for his fictional desert planet.
